A Detour Down the PCH…Profitability Collaboration Highway- A Road to New Business Opportunities
2012 and beyond will be about growing share and opening new markets instead of relying on expansion of traditional markets. This session will feature two aggressive, forward-looking HVAC contractors who used innovative partnerships with their distributors and manufacturers to enter into completely new markets for their businesses. Greg Gill of Action Air Conditioning in San Marcos, CA, will describe how his suppliers helped him enter the solar market. Dave Kyle, II of Trademasters in Lorton, VA, will then outline how creative and collaborative partnerships with his distributors enabled him to create a new Government Services Division.
This session is about the power of collaborative channel partnerships for creating new business with solar and government contracting as examples. The lessons will translate to any new channel partnership regardless of the specific products.
